Responsibilities
- Lead Incident Response: Spearhead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, conducting forensic analysis to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
- Threat Hunting & Analysis: Proactively identify and neutralize advanced threats using SIEM tools and threat intelligence feeds before they cause damage.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain a multi-layered security framework, including network segmentation, firewall policies, and access controls.
- Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR through regular audits and risk assessments.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the Penetration Testing program and coordinate patch management to address vulnerabilities in critical systems.
- Security Awareness: Conduct security training sessions and create awareness materials to educate employees on phishing and social engineering tactics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS (e.g., Snort, Suricata), and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Cloud Security: Experience with cloud security architecture in AWS or Azure (e.g., IAM, VPC, KMS).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
