Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures across cloud/on-prem environments
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting, containment, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical systems
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on cloud security
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure security
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
