Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Develop zero-trust architecture and access control frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Mentor junior security engineers and document security protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for secure cloud deployments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance
