Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Lead threat modeling, penetration testing, and incident response protocols
- Develop zero-trust security frameworks aligned with NIST and CIS benchmarks
- Mentor junior security engineers and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Present security posture reports to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in architecture/design roles
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical security solutions
- Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
