Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage zero-trust security architectures
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Document security protocols and create executive-level reports
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex issues
- Eligibility for U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
