Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time, performing triage and analysis during the weekend shift.
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential exploits.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and implement robust security controls.
- Generate detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of all security activities.
- Perform regular audits of network configurations and access logs to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or LogRhythm).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple incidents under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
