Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents during weekend shifts.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend schedules.
- Manage and configure SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with the SOC team to escalate and resolve complex security issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Active CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during off-peak hours.
