As part of our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be responsible for monitoring critical infrastructure and responding to threats during our high-visibility Weekend Shift. Responsibilities
- 24/7 Monitoring: Lead the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents during weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday).
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and vulnerabilities within the network.
- Relocation Coordination: Work with our HR team to facilitate a seamless move from San Diego to North Carolina.
- Incident Response: Coordinate with red teams and external partners to remediate breaches and secure systems post-incident.
- Compliance Audits: Ensure all security protocols align with NIST 800-53 and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (Must hold current certification).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC analysis, incident response, or penetration testing.
- Shift Work: Proven ability to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm) and Python scripting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
