Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents 24/7 during weekend shifts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and SIEM platforms.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Lead incident response investigations and prepare detailed forensic reports.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts as required.
