Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across the enterprise network 24/7 during assigned weekend shifts.
- Perform real-time analysis of security threats and execute incident response procedures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekends to ensure system integrity.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection tools.
- Document security incidents, maintain detailed audit logs, and create post-incident reports.
- Collaborate with the NOC and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities identified during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations Center environment.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common attack vectors.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and off-hours shifts as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
