The Role:
As the Weekend Shift Lead, you will be the guardian of our digital perimeter. You will manage incident response, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure our clients remain compliant with industry standards. Your expertise will directly influence our long-term security architecture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms for anomalies, threats, and security alerts.
- Execute Tier 2 incident response procedures to contain and mitigate cyber threats effectively.
- Conduct routine vulnerability scanning and penetration testing preparations during off-peak hours.
- Manage access control reviews and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
- Document security incidents and create detailed post-incident reports for executive review.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 Operations Center to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of security operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security analysis.
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Experience with NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, or HIPAA compliance is a major plus.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
