This is a high-impact role requiring a vigilant professional to monitor security posture during off-hours. You will be the first line of defense against evolving threats, ensuring our clients remain secure even when the office is quiet.
Responsibilities
- Monitor SOC dashboards and security feeds continuously during weekend shifts to detect and respond to active threats.
- Conduct forensic analysis on security breaches and unauthorized access attempts.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management for systems outside standard business hours.
- Escalate critical incidents to the on-call team while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Review and analyze log data to identify patterns and improve threat detection strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security patches and configurations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT operations.
- Experience working in a 24/7 or shift-based environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Azure Sentinel).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
