This position offers a competitive salary and the flexibility of Remote Options or working from our offices in Fort Worth or NYC. You will be responsible for monitoring security infrastructure around the clock, ensuring our data remains uncompromised during off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems during weekend shifts to detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response investigations, analyzing logs and artifacts to determine the scope and severity of security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Implement and manage security patches, updates, and configurations for servers, firewalls, and endpoints.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks across all projects.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and deploy advanced threat detection strategies.
- Generate detailed security reports and present findings to the CISO and executive management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
