Fort Worth CyberGuard Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite Security Operations Center (SOC). We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the integrity and security of our critical infrastructure during high-impact weekend shifts. In this role, you will be the first line of defense during off-hours, managing security incidents and maintaining 24/7 vigilance. You will work closely with a team of elite engineers and analysts to identify, triage, and neutralize threats before they impact our business operations.
Responsibilities
- 24/7 Security Monitoring: Proactively monitor security alerts and events across firewalls, endpoints, and network infrastructure using SIEM tools.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during weekend outages, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting operations to identify malicious actors and hidden vulnerabilities within the network.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform timely patch management and vulnerability assessments for systems operating on the weekend schedule.
- Report Generation: Create detailed after-action reports and security dashboards for stakeholders upon completion of weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SOC operations, network security, or incident response.
- Availability: Mandatory weekend availability (Friday evenings through Monday mornings) is required for this position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Splunk, SIEM technologies (e.g., QRadar, ArcSight), and SIEM scripting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
