Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Implement advanced threat detection protocols for 24/7 infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and security documentation
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead incident response coordination during off-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with weekend shift experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and AWS security services
- Experience with incident response (IR) playbooks and forensic tools
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and cloud security best practices
- Ability to work independently under pressure during critical incidents
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
