Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events 24/7 during the weekend shift to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct triage and initial response to security incidents using established playbooks.
- Analyze logs and telemetry data to identify vulnerabilities and anomalies.
- Collaborate with the core team to escalate and resolve complex security issues.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management reviews.
- Document all incidents and actions taken in the SIEM and ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) is required.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday-Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
