We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to lead our elite security operations during weekend shifts in New York. Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts 24/7 during weekend shifts and execute immediate remediation for high-priority incidents.
- Conduct deep-dive log analysis and threat hunting to identify zero-day vulnerabilities and active intrusions.
- Perform rigorous security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on internal systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the incident response team to contain breaches and restore system integrity.
- Generate detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation of all security events.
- Develop and update playbooks for automated incident response procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network defense.
- Strong working knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and incident response protocols.
- Hands-on proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and make high-stakes decisions under pressure during off-hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
