Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security patches and firewalls to mitigate risks.
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with NIST and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve security breaches.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
