Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS/Azure).
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
- Investigate security breaches and produce detailed incident reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and training.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
