Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams to mitigate threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA).
- Perform security audits and provide recommendations for remediation and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency with security tools such as FireEye, CrowdStrike, or Snort.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
