Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams for remediation.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulatory frameworks.
- Develop and execute security policies and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, SOC, or incident response.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Experience with Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
