Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch management cycles.
- Oversee the configuration and management of SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools.
- Perform security audits and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Investigate suspicious network activity and assist in forensic analysis.
Qualifications
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
