Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to monitor security alerts, investigate potential breaches, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' data in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor security systems and SIEM tools to detect and investigate potential security incidents.
- Incident Response: Lead the initial response to security breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Compliance: Ensure all security protocols align with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulations.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and security dashboards for stakeholders and management.
- Security Awareness: Train staff on security best practices and conduct phishing simulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or GRC roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and network architecture.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder management.
