Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM platform.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with NIST and HIPAA standards.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with legal and executive teams during security breaches.
- Perform regular security audits and ensure continuous improvement of the organization's security architecture.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or information security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in using security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or similar SIEM solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
