Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring systems for threat detection
- Lead incident response activities including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance if required
