Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+).
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) is required.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
