Responsibilities
- Develop and Refine Prompts: Design complex, multi-turn prompts that elicit high-quality, context-aware responses from Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Model Optimization: Continuously test and iterate on prompt strategies to improve model accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and enhance output tone.
- Library Management: Build and maintain a centralized library of high-performing prompts for internal teams and external clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and data scientists to integrate prompt engineering best practices into product workflows.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance metrics analysis to measure the impact of prompt variations on user engagement.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and guides to onboard new team members and stakeholders to the prompt engineering framework.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging trends in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and applying them to our development cycles.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or a related field with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced language manipulation.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and basic understanding of Python or JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Language Mastery: Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, and nuance with a deep understanding of context and subtlety.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and formulate precise instructions for AI systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
