Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis and root cause analysis of security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security controls into the SDLC (Secure DevOps).
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
