Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct Threat Hunting operations to proactively identify malicious actors within the network.
- Lead Incident Response efforts for security breaches, including containment and eradication.
- Perform regular Vulnerability Assessments and penetration testing to strengthen network defenses.
- Enforce Security Compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) across all departments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure coding practices and patch management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: CISSP or CEH is required; GCIH preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network security or SOC operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Tools: Strong experience with Splunk or similar log analysis tools.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
