Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across the enterprise environment using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough security investigations and forensic analysis to identify the root cause of security breaches.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities within the network, systems, and applications.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks for incident response.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or threat analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM technologies (Splunk, LogRhythm, or Azure Sentinel).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and VPNs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
