Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security gaps.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware analysis and root cause determination.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patch management strategies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and playbooks.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to NIST and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 SOC environment.
