Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/Sentinel) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct detailed investigations of security incidents, root cause analysis, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to ensure infrastructure resilience.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch systems and enforce security policies.
- Generate and present weekly security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Professional certification preferred: CISSP, GSEC, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
