The Role
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our defense strategy. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. We value proactive thinking and a deep understanding of network architecture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and manage incident response workflows using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and applications.
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches to determine root cause and impact.
- Enforce security policies and conduct security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Snort, or FireEye.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
