Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize downtime and data exposure.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and SIEM platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and SOC 2 regulations.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to reduce human error risks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and methodologies.
- Proficiency with security tools including Splunk, Wireshark, and Nessus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
