Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Respond to and remediate security breaches, intrusions, and malware incidents.
- Enforce strict security policies and ensure compliance with standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Manage firewall configurations and network segmentation to reduce attack surfaces.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure access controls and identity management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) are highly preferred.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and threat hunting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-friendly environment while collaborating effectively.
