Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in equity options trading systems during weekend shifts
- Implement and maintain SIEM protocols for financial transaction security
- Conduct penetration testing on trading platforms and option pricing algorithms
- Develop incident response playbooks specific to financial market attacks
- Collaborate with trading teams to assess cyber risks in option strategies
- Ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA cybersecurity regulations
- Lead weekend security audits for derivative trading infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience in financial services or fintech
- CISSP or CISM certification required
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives, and market microstructure
- Expertise in threat detection for trading systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
- Experience with weekend/shift-based security operations
- Knowledge of SEC Rule 15c3-5 and FINRA cybersecurity standards
- Proficiency in network security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Ability to work independently during off-peak trading hours
