Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Implement and manage advanced security solutions, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems.
- Perform regular security audits and ensure adherence to data protection regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Proven experience with Linux, Windows Server, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high reliability.
