Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts during cyber security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for staff and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
