Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Monitor security alerts and manage SIEM systems to detect anomalies.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on best practices and security tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret) is a plus.
- CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
