Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across hybrid IT environments
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop and implement zero-trust security architectures and access controls
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Analyze SIEM data to identify sophisticated attack patterns and anomalies
- Create executive-level security dashboards and risk mitigation reports
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security
- Strong understanding of NIST CSF and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis
- Proven ability to lead crisis management during security incidents
