Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise networks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Manage security tool deployments including EDR, firewalls, and DLP solutions
- Provide security awareness training to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Expertise in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Experience with SIEM implementation and threat hunting methodologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
