Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security measures to protect organizational systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Lead incident response protocols during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into IT projects
- Research emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Maintain and optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security data
- Proven experience in incident response and threat investigation
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
