Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the enterprise network using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and secure access controls.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead incident response investigations, perform forensics analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and conduct regular security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common protocols.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
