Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture and data protection.
- Investigate security breaches, perform root cause analysis, and document incident reports.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with incident response procedures and forensic analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
