Job Overview
As a Software Engineer on the night shift, you will be responsible for maintaining our core infrastructure and developing critical features that power our global platform. You will play a key role in ensuring system stability and performance during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages (Python, Java, or Go).
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues within the critical night-time maintenance window.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) via asynchronous communication tools.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to strict best practices and security standards.
- Participate in technical code reviews and architecture planning sessions.
- Ensure system uptime, performance optimization, and reliability for our 24/7 services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful API design.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
