Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the network and endpoints using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to prevent cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform security audits and risk analysis to mitigate business risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, SIEM, SIEM, and Nmap.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
