Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and incident response using SIEM platforms
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on threat detection experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certifications required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Ability to work independently in remote settings with minimal supervision
