Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts within the SIEM environment to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams to remediate security breaches.
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Conduct security awareness training for staff and stakeholders to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in using security tools like Splunk, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, or similar SIEM solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while adhering to strict deadlines.
