Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and root cause determination
- Develop zero-trust security architectures and cloud security frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts through peer review sessions and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Present security posture reports to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on threat analysis
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP with active CE credits
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and GRC tools
- Proven experience leading SOC teams during major security incidents
- Advanced knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
- Experience with weekly payroll processing and vendor management
- Ability to work flexible hours during critical incidents
