Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across the network perimeter.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure security tools including SIEM, Firewalls, and Endpoint Detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and Threat Intelligence feeds.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
